any suggestions of which company has the best ti4400? or if they're all about the same?

i've been looking at visiontek's, and i like the software they put in with it.. i can get it for $500 cdn.. but i found an asus ti4400 for $450cdn.. is the asus any better/worse?
any companies i should stay away from altogether, any recommendations?

(im new to nvidia cards, i've been stuck with an ati p0s for almost 2 years)

everyone i ask told me about a visiontek's, but im look at a estacy

which ones are cheapest?

is one company better than the rest?

gainward and leadtek are very good cards from what ive read, these two are at the top end of the price range.

XP PRO
AMD Athlon XP 1700+
512MB PC2100 DDR RAM
JETWAY 866AS ULTRA MB
LEADTEK GF4Ti4400 128MB DDR AGP VO DVI
40 GIG HD
TEAC 40X CD-ROM
LITEON 32X12X40 RE-WRITER
Realtek 10/100 Family Fast Ethernet NIC
19" LG FLATRON MONITOR
MICROSOFT INTELLIMOUSE OPTICAL
CREATIVE SOUNDWORKS DIGITAL

what about visiontek? what are the advantages of a gainward or leadtek one over a visiontek?

are msi and asus good?

and.. where might i get the leadtek card in canada?

I'd recommend either Leadtek or Gainward, both make exceptional cards, often higher than the original specs.

Whatever you choose you cant go wrong with them.

www.techzone.com

www.nvnews.net

have good reviews of both cards.

the leadtek ti4400 has two fans on it and a word of warning its pretty noisy, other than that i love it and u can easily overclock it to the default settings of the ti4600.

hmmm... everywhere i look, its out of stock :(
do u know of an online store that'll ship to canada cheap?

what kind of power supply will i need?
i have a 250W now

i have:
cdrom
cdrw
ati p0s gpu
sblive value
d-link 10/100 ethernet
some 56k modem i dont need
40gb 7200rpm hd
floppy drive

using a visiontek geti4400 no problems here
using detxp 28.32 drivers

would definitely upgrade power supply 250 pushing it a lil i think

i upgraded to 400watt

i have a p3 800 and 512mb sdram
xp home

what psu do i need for the leadtek?

and, you guys say its loud... how loud is that?

I have a Visiontek 4600, no problems at all.

Just my $.02

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
