Geoforce 2 error message

I have a geoforce 2 mx, i installed the new detonator drivers and the refresh rate fix.

i get the following message when i run the refresh rate fix, and i can't get rid of it...

"The program was unable to read you display adaptor information.

this can be result of an outdated device list. please update the list by clicking the update button and try again."

I have clicked the update button and it doesn't make a difference.

When i try to play MOHAA or Quake 3 arena the screen just flickers as if the refresh rate is wrong, but even if i change the refresh rate i cannot fix it.

Also the auto detect hardware in MOHAA says my video card is a geoforce not a gf2????????

i have enclosed the exact error message.

I have a dell E771p monitor, with the xp drivers installed.

Did you get the shaking on open gl games?

Did you manage to rectify it

I have no problems with my GF2 MX and latest XP-DETS, it gives warnings during installs but that is about it.

100FPS all the way with cheapo
