geforce4 ti4200!!! : )

i was looking @ this geforce4 ti4200 titianium 128mb and it has more features than the xtacy one ->more speed
im not sure if its a typo....i heard the gf4 ti4200 with 128mb goes slower than the 64mb but this titanium isn't.?

The ti4200 with 128mb does not go slower than a ti4200 with 64mb, but it wont go much faster either..because the memory is has bandwidth limitations which are part of the whole ti4200 board.. so the 64mb, may run faster in tests.. but when you need the use of 128mb.. wot will the 64mb version do!!..

In other words.. the two are the same except one has more ram to use.



But personally if your thinking of a ti4200, you might as well get a cheaper ti500 (GF3).. as the performance between them is almost identical.. yet the GF3 is cheaper..
