Geforce4 pci with a Fan??

Guys, i own a PNY VERTO GeForce4 MX420 PCI and i noticed that it doesn't have a fan. What's up with that? Just because its a PCI?? My card only came with a Heatsink(I think that what it is) but it does have the plug for the fan though.
Please help!

Its an MX.
The MX are the bargain no frills cards.

perhaps what he is saying is that the mx card is not very powerful therefore does not produce much heat and therefore is able to be cooled by a passive heatsink ie a cooler with no fan...

At least a passive HS doesn't make any noice or have a tendancy to break...
And yes it needs much less cooling than the GF4Ti:s.
