Geforce3 TI200 vs Geforce2 GTS Pro

Hey kids,

I have a Geforce3 TI200 collecting dust and thought I'd give it to my brother who has a Geforce2 GTS Pro. Am I doing him a favor? Which is better? I know that, for instance, a Geforce4 MX is not as powerful as a standard issue Geforce 3.

Please advise...

Well I check out the specs and compared them and based on that I would say that giving ur brother would be an improvement over his current card. So I would say yes but that is my opinion.

gf3 has directx 8 technology... pixel shaders, vertex shaders (both make things look better), and LMA which increases effective memory bandwidth, even though they both figuratively have 6.4gb/sec of bandwidth.

gf3 is quite a bit better. just thought i'd try to explain exactly why. }:>
