Gbit router....

a) i dont have a spare pc now - it blew up
b) i dont have that many sockets in the room to power another pc
c) less space required with a router than another pc :)

yes the linksys is more a router, plus its cheaper than the netgear :)

I've always been a linksys fan.

The thing with the Netgear that I didnt like with my uncles was port forwarding. You can't do an port switch. Like this is the outside port and this is the inside port.

For example I cant say forward port 5500 to 192.168.0.100 port 3389.

EDIT: I meant can't not can, fixed now.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
