Games + XP + Nvidia +AMD = Crash

I've been reading most of the forums around the web, and the problems with XP are getting more clear to me :

The explosive combination:

...seems to be attacking many gamers and pc users worldwide.

I just hope that someone clears this out quickly before we all cutt our wrists off in despair...

You are almost right

Luckily with the nv refresh rate fix there is no problem.The problem for me with XP is a little loss of FPS.

Bah, I have XP+Nvidia+AMD+Games and my computer hasn't crashed while playing games and has been on for 2 weeks now so it obviously only applies to some people

pfffffft, i have XP + AMD + NVIDIA + GAMES and my pc hasnt even been close to unstable whilst playing games since i installed XP a fair few weeks ago

Mine's only crashed twice. Period. Both times Roger Wilco was running.

hehe, ur specs dont differ alot from mine (apart from i have a duron 750 @ 950mhz - and a riva hehe, pile of poop)....


it seems that all the new nvidia cards are the ones that crash - i just hope that i dont start getting crashes when i get my gf4 4600 - that would be a real bummer

lol...they originally weren't going to release the Ge-Force 4, and just move on to the 5 (or so I was told), but they decided to release them anyway, and make a lot of money off of them on the way.

I'm not to worried about my Graphics card though, I still get 5100 on 3DMark....
