g2mx400 a gf1?

i was playing cs and someone was saying that a geforce2 mx400 is actually a geforce 1 on a gf2 board? is this true?

well I shouldn't think so, but the performance of the mx ranges I think are probably around GF1 somewhere, probably a bit higher of course.

This is not true to my understanding. The MX200 and MX400 are completely different chipsets than even the GF2...

the g2 mx is not a g1....

The only difference between a g2mx and a g2gts is the ram and clock speed. It still a GeForce2 chip though.

A g4mx however is merely a g2mx on steroids and better dvd playback.
