Hey peeps!

As most, if not all of you know I am very active with regards to my favourite server operating system FreeBSD. FreeBSD has their very own Foundation which helps out with costs for Legal matters, costs for people to go to conferences so that the developer community gets out, and talks to people (Their director Sam Leffler was at SCALE 5x which I attended).

They are currently trying to raise money for the community, and to be able to do even more in the sense of the BSD community getting more hardware support and other such goodies. They have a Donate page up at http://www.freebsdfoundation.org/donate/ . If you have a few extra dollars you are not going to use, why not donate to them, and help the operating system grow bigger.

In case you are wondering why I am posting this here, I am posting this here, both for my love of the OS, and also because OSNN.net runs on this great OS. Sure, the money may not go straight to OSNN.net, in the end it comes back to us getting a more stable OS to run the website on.

If you have some extra cash, help them out and get them to their goal. Anything will help them!

Sent the link to our finance director. Though I don't know where the company spends it sponsorship funds.

I'll throw them some of my personal money as well.

I'm going to see if I can get my employers to make some kind of donation. One of our brands runs entirely on FreeBSD servers.

$10 donation glad I can help..:)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
