folders: being used by another person or program

i have 2 folders i want to delete, but it says they are being used by another prog. or person. i can't replace them, and i can't delete them. one of them i just made five minutes ago, and i can't delete it, thanks for any help!

try this

hit alt-crtl-del and see if it's running, if it is, end task
then try to delete, if that doesn't work,reboot, find the file/s and delete again.

Try deleting them from safe mode.

ok, i've rebooted & ctrl-alt-delted and they still won't delete, so i'll just boot to safe mode & try, thx

Can you rename these files?

If you can rename them, you might be able to delete them then.
