Folder options?

Is there a way to have common folder tasks show only in some folders and not in others?

What do you mean by "Common Folder Tasks?" If you are talking about folder settings, simply change the setting in the directories you want and it will remember those settings (overriding the default).

I mean the tasks in the left pane of the the folder

Nah the tasks in the left pane are a global option I believe, so a folder can not retain the tasks other then the small individual ones like show slideshow, play all and such other then by changing the folder type (video,document, etc)

Maybe someone will figure out somekind of reg tweak to change this, hahaha

Only Global...

under Tools>Folder options>General tab: click "use windows classic folders".

But I guess you knew that huh?

Of course, this then becomes global, not some 'n' some, but still....
