Floppy Problem

my floppy disk drive has started creating problems!
Its says when any disks inserted needs to be reformat and if tried to be reformats comes with error!
Also its started makin funny noise!
Any ideas .. i really cant be bothered to get a another 1!

If this problem 'suddenly' happened, then I am afraid the drive is broken.
Floppydrives aren't that expensive, for around 15 euros/ $10 you have a good drive and building it in is a POC (Piece Of Cake).
I usually say 'Hope this helps' after giving a reply, but I won't put that here

yer dont worry im experienced pc builder my pc is custom just aint got time atm to get a new 1 and need it just wondered if it was a stupid error or something.
and my custom case is a bit annoyin to get to the floppy and ****

nevermind see if got time to get 1 2morrow at college!

If the floppy drive makes noises, and it's plugged in properly and connected, then, It's broke. Time for a new floppy drive, which is really no big thing.
