Flash Path

Having recentely bought a new pc with xp on, I have tried and tried to load the program for my flash path smart media disk adaptor, which i have use with my digital camera. I just can not get it to work anyone got any ideas. It is a Philips AY3953 Flash Path smart media floppy disk drive adaptor. Thanx looking forward to some help on this matter. Johno

Is this a USB device? If so, do you have usb support enabled in your bios?

No its not usb its slots into the floppy drive

I've just been looking around the Philips web site. As far as I can tell internet product support is non-existent. What kind of error messages are you getting when you try to use or install your device drivers? Are the drivers loading for you at all? You might want to try installing them in safe mode.

I'm familiar with the USB Card readers, but i'm not sure what the device you have even looks like. Well, i have an idea - it plugs into your floppy drive. I'm curious about this thing so i'll keep looking around to see what i can find.

From what I've seen so far, this FlashPath devices look like they're made by a lot of vendors, but they're the same (?) device. You might try these XP drivers and see if they'll take for you.
