Flash mx

I have flash mx and I am making a flash movie from parts of dvd. its working out wonderfully but I have no idea how to change the sound of the movie. I want it to be music not the words and sound effects from the movie. Anybody know how to do this or is familiar with this program?

i'm not sure you can remove the sound from the movie clips within Flash MX... However, you can remove the sound using other means. There were some posts just last week regarding removing audio tracks from video clips... just browse the most recent few pages of posts in "applications"... you'll find it...

But its already a flash file.. So I'm not sure antother program will be able to open it

well then, you'll have to remove the audio from the movie clips before you import them into flash...
