I have completely F*cked up my monitor, with some 80 oz magnets. I had them sitting next to my computer monitor, without realizing what it did (talk about brain fart). Is there any way to fix the damage. the DEGAUSS function does not fix it.

My kids did the same thing to 1 of my monitors and the T.V.!!
9 times out of 10 all you have to do is turn it on and off a few times. The monitor my take a little longer.

I really hate to say this, but if the magnets completely re-aligned the electron guns, and a degauss is not working...the monitor might be good as fried =/

In my TV repair days we used a degaussing coil to fix problems like this, don't know if there are any still around but you might check a TV repair shop.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
