FireFox Spyware Infects IE!!

ahhh hurry mozilla fix it, did someone alert them of this?

If users are dumb enough to install something that actually says the company is not secure and the security cert is expired, then they get what they deserve. This is no different that downloading a random EXE off the internet and running it.

Which is why the author also stated "The article is illustrating what happens when an end-user blindly agrees to something, however the point is IE being infected when not in use at the time, not the social engineering aspects of the install."

That's hilarious. Anti-spyware wouldn't allow those in there anyways.

BTW - sorry to change the topic slightly - but I tracked down where alot of those spywares come from. Their office is here in Montreal. I'll start another thread, I want to know what you all would like me to do about it. ;)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
