But its safe to say this is the final

Dont think there will be anything different

already downloaded and installed:)

does anyone know if there is any documentation with this release for us OEM systembuilders? i wanna be able to include FF v1.0 on all our shops Systems via unatended XP instals.... and not even give users the choice of IE.. im so sick of having customerrs come back to us with an apperently "broken system" when in fact it was IE allowing all sorts of crappy spyware on the machine
i hope they give us some info, in the past builds its been so hard, so many stupid ways and even 3rd party .exe/.msi rebuilds
they wanna get it out there? give us the unnatended switches ;)

Nothing official for that purpose yet.
But you might want to look at this thread on the MozillaZine boards:

as with mozilla and all its releases...it should be safe to install over the rc2?

or should a complete clean fresh install be better?

I usually prefer to uninstall the old build before installing the new one. It's not exactly a clean install, since all your settings, bookmarks, extensions, themes etc. remain.
Just uninstall the old build, select No when it asks you if you want to delete the Firefox folder, then install the new build into the same folder. Should work without a problem. :)

Where as I always just stick it on topof the last one and that works also , but I would opt for NetRyder's option.

I am just lazy thats all

They must have moved it....just have to wait

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
