firefox downloads are saved??

i clicked on a file i had previously downloaded with firefox and it downloaded at 30000 kb/s. now, as much as i would like this speed i know that it wasnt real, and that the file is saved in some kind of temp folder in my pc...is there any way to clear that folder with the downloads of firefox?

I'm not sure, but try this. Hope it works.

Go to Tools > Options > Privacy and then click "Clear" to delete the Downloaded Manager History.

Tools > Downloads click on clean up on the bottom left.
