FireBird Favicons.

I have the links toolbar showing in Firebird and I don't want it to show sites icons (favicon), I want the icons to stay as the default white ones.

BUT I do want the favicon to display in the URL bar when I visit a site.
I've tried browser.chrome.site_icons and browser.chrome.favicons but these options just seem to completely disable the icons completely.

Anyone know if there's a way to acheive what I want?

Not sure if it's possible. I just have them disabled completely.

put this in your userchrome.css

/* Kill "normal" bookmark icons in the bookmarks menu */
menuitem.bookmark-item > .menu-iconic-left {
display: none;
}

That removes all icons from the Bookmarks menu. I only want them removed/defaulted on the toolbar

eep, just text now. I'd rather have the defult icon there. but I could get used to this i suppose

does anybody know how you can make all the favicons in the bookmark menu to the default icon? as shown i know how to remove them but how can i get them to be all the default icon ?
