I just got a phone call from Fedex, they were supposed to ship my package today but they had a "Clearance Delay" in
MEMPHIS, TN! The lady who called me asked whether or not the CD Drive on the laptop was removable or non-removable, and then she said she'll have the shipment cleared and delivered by tomorrow morning.

I think the shipping date was January 5, not December 30 so it shipped even faster than you think!

I can't think of any other reason a courier would ask if the optical drive was removable...
