i set a little network up for a friends company a few days ago and there seems to be a problem with some file sharing. there's 5 computers altogether. 4 running xp and 1 running 2000 (not sure why), and the one with 2000 on is the one not allowing a certain folder to be shared. i turned the file sharing on, checked permissions, turned the firewall off but it still doesnt like it. is there some setting somewhere that needs to allow 2000 to share files with xp systems? i can see the computer and folder from the other computers, just cant access it. using a belkin 8 port switch.
