Does anyone out there know if it is possible to get a printout of a folder's contents, ie. if I have a folder that has all of my MP3's in it, can I print it out so I have a list of all my MP3's? Or is there a program that will allow me to do this?

Just Wondering aloud.........

hmm..dunno of any programs to do it. You can do it the ghetto way. open up the command prompt list the dir contents to save as a txt and print that :)

I can only do a dir of the drive. Unless I'm missing something, is there a way to do a dir of subfolders?

For Mp3's, you can make a playlist of all your titles and then print the playlist.

yes, you can do a dir of any directory...just put yourself in the directory

like if you start out in C: and you wanna goto windows type

cd\windows or cd windows

then you'll be in the windows directory and can do dir from there :)

You could also try a redirect. In a dos window type dir *.mp3 > myfile.txt . That would print the directory listing to a text file. There are many variations of this command such as sorting, show only the names, other attributes, etc.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
