is there a way to have the file extension appear in the details section of the task pain in my computer while having it hidden from the actual file name? Also, can you change what appears in the 'other places' part of the task pane?

hehhheeee im confused :p

But do you know how to set say "icon" view for ALL folders ....some of mine go thumbnail etc and its really annoying me

:(

go to a folder, set it to icon view. Then go tools>folder options, click the view tab and hit the apply to all folders button

take a look at the screenshot. It should explain itself

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
