when you open properties on the hard drive in XP there is a place to check to compress the entire drive. is there a way to remove this option from showing there?
Thanks

I believe there might be a way to remove the option to enable compression of the whole hard drive. It might not be as straight-forward as you might think though. Instead of digging around through the registry for a key to change, why don't you try a program by X-tek, called X-setup. It allows you to tweak many things in the Windows interface, and is compatable with all versions of Windows since 98. I hope this helps.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
