GM, I downloaded ResEdit (www.tgtsoft.com), freeware. Picked up the start button from another forum and replaced the resource for the start button.

However, I rename my MSSTYLES to "Luna.msstyle" to keep Office skinned. You also have to be using the NormalColor shell style. So I enlarged the start button from 74px to 90px.

Office won't stay skinned if you use the compact shell style.

Open the MSSTYLE file in ResEdit, under BITMAP you can find all the images for the style. Very easy to figure out once you find a start button you like. (You drag and drop the file from Explorer to ResEdit)

Nah the laptop is almost 6 months old. Just wanted to try something different
