fat32 & NTFS

I am running XP in fats32 and am having some problems that might mean a reformat/reinstall.
Is XP more stable in NTFS and will everything run alright.

NTFS is more secure than fat32 and less prone to errors while in that format.

ntfs is generally more stable than fat, but it's not a panacea. Nobody can tell you if your system will run any better if you convert.
