Fastest Det settings

i'm having difficulties with my Geforce 2 GTS 64 DDR on my P3 450.
before i formated my XP i was able to play counter-strike (res = 1024*768 OpenGl) on a normal level.
Now the fps are dropping seriously (i mean 6-12 fps) when i'm in a sticky situation.
Does anyone know the fastest settings for gfx card ?
(direct3d and opengl settings)

i play with the same res and i get 100fps with vsync off and the typical 60fps with it on

Do you have Opengl On ? If you do try playing it with it off. It may not have as good graphics then but it might work better!
