Faster internet using 2 usb wireless recievers?

I've got two wireless USB recievers hooked up to my PC right now. Is there any way to configure them to work simultaneously, like dual modems?

I'm not a networking tech but adding another reciever isn't going to do much (if anything) as you are still only going recieve the same amout of bw coming in from your access point it would just be split between to cards, which could lead to more overhead and maybe even slower speeds.
