Far Cry Screenshots! Best looking game ever

I have tried to go back and play it again... but I cant bring myself to do it. I install it get all patched up and fire up the single player campaign then I remember why I quit playing. Still a great looking game for its age though... really makes you appreciate how far ahead of its time it was.

the outdoor environments were a joy. the indoor maps were a chore. they should have limited the indoor bits to huts and tents imo.

Agreed - indoor sections got quite boring really, especially with all those mental apes running around everywhere!

yeah, i did notice that half-life 2 did not have this problem. both indoor & outdoor environments were fantastic, atmospheric and enjoyable. farcry wasn't bad, but HL2 was (IS) a work of art.

i still play it now and then. i got it free with my pc so i was quite happy. play hl2 more though. love far cry because everything looks so nice and real.
