Are there any decent companies your side of the pond that'll ship PC components to the UK?

More specifically TFTs. I'm after a new one and the prices are so much better over there!

There are a few that will do it, but can you get them duty-free? I hear the VAT still applies if the US business is VAT registered, so as to do business with UK customers.

there is a possibility you will get bent over by UK Customs though

You'll get absolutely maimed on import tax etc if they realise what it is.
Funny thing is you could import an entire PC and not get charged, then order a book and get slapped for it, the import taxing seems to be entirely random.
