Hey you guys, i ripped somekind of big fan out of an powersupply of an old computer, and i was wondering if i could connect it to the one i now have, but i saw that it has just a dual connector, not a triple one like on my motherboard...can anyone give advice? Oh yeah by the way...how old is the AMD bussiness? Cause in that thing..(old computer)...is a AMD processor, like a chip of 1.5 by 1.5 cm. lol :p. it says
Advanced
Micro
Devices

:D so must be amd..but that computer is of begin 90's...:p

A two wire fan will work but cant be monitored, the extra wire has a pilse sent down it every rotation so that your pc can work out the RPM of the fan.

As for amd I tink they've been going almost as long as intel

lol so i can connect the two pin one to a threepin connector?

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
