EZ CD SP4 updater crash

Whenever I run the new Easy CD Creator SP4 Update Package, it prepares to install and then crashes every time? Anybody else have this problem? thanks.

easy cd 4 has had many known problems which is why, if you can, use Nero
or if it really has to be easy cd, then use Roxio version 5

Good point akash. I don't think anything below roxio v5 will run on xp. Properly anyway.

Agreed, anything above version 5.0B seems to crash. I have a finely tuned XP pro installed on a clone, no HP, Compaq, Dell or any other proprietary system. Running a P4 1.5 on a 850 chipset w/ 400mhz Rambus. Installed the new patch that just came out and it fuxored my EZCD install. Had to get out the original 5.0 Plt. ver. and find the 5.0b upgrade and install that so it would see my recorder, a lite-on 24 to get it to work again after I uninstalled the upgraded version.

All is back and working, what a pain.
