I know how to backup the machine, and restoare, authorative, normal, system state, etc.

My question is this...

If you have multiple networks that you maintain, say on a contracted type scenario, and you want to setup the GPO(s) just once and then drop them on different DC's, is that possible?

Like, can you import/export?

I spent a few minutes (not long at all) trying to figure this out once and never got back to it. Anyone have any ideas?

It would just make it soooooo much easier, as re-doing that over and over is getting to be a PAIN.

Download Microsoft's Group Policy Management Snap-in. It allows you to export (backup) GPO's. It can be downloaded at Microsoft's Download Center.

Yeah I have used that, wasn't aware it had that feature. I'll have to check that out, thanks.

Open Group Policy Management
Right Click Group Policy Objects

To backup select "Back Up All"
To manage your backups choose "Manage Backup"

Any of the SP crew still out there?
