explorer.exe crash?!?

Hey there,

I've come home to my computer a couple of times to see the following popup:

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library"
Runtime error!
Program: C:\Windows\explorer.exe
abnormal program termination

Can anyone help me out with what is wrong? I've done a virus scan on my computer already that has turned up nothing.

hey

im using winXP professional

the crash occurs when the computer is idle

no AOL stuff is installed on my system

i have error reporting disabled I am pretty sure.....

no debugging software installed that Im aware of

I ran that prog from 'run', and it wants to replace some files but Ill need to get my winXP CD from home first
