Explorer 6.0 saving .jpg pictures..

Hello all.
When I'm saving pictures from a website. I can only save in .bmp format; eg. not the original .jpg format the picture is in.
I haven't seen this before, so can anyone help. I'm running XP Pro & Explorer 6.0.2600.0000 in Danish.

when you right click on to of a picture and select "Save picture As" you should get a drop down list with the option to save it as a jpg or bmp, Do you get that?

That's the funny part. When I Right Click; I only get the
option to save the Picture in .bmp format ??

Are you sure the picture you are saving is not actually a .BMP? Also look under the menu for File Types, you may be able to change it from there.
