Eudora Problems

Has anyone else run into significant problems with Eudora in the past few days?

My Dad called me up and his Eudora has completely crashed and right then when I started looking at mine it started acting stupid too. Table of Contents rebuilding constantly, problems conecting, various issues, I think even loosing some mail.

I tried looking at the Eudora website, and it seems some folks were having issues and blaming it on the latest Zone Alarm release, which I just installed a few days ago as well.

And there were the Windows Securiy Patches this week.

Anyone know of anything definitive with Zone Alarm or Windows that recently happened that could be screwing up Eudora? And what can be done to repair these issues?

BTW, Eudora Version 6.2.3.4.

Thanks.

Just an FYI, for those of you who use Eudora and Zone Alarm Pro.

I would suggest not upgrading to Zone Alarm Version 6.5.X.X.

I had to uninstall 6.5.714.00 and reinstall 6.1.744.001 and low and behold all my Eudora problems went away.

While looking at several other forums (Eudora's and others) there has been a lot of problems reported with Zone Alarm 6.5.X.X messing up Eudora (from versions 5 through 7).

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS
