Error when trying to enter the chat

I keep getting the message
jave.class.notfound

so ok...how do I fix this little problem ?

Ok, I made sure I had java installed (I got it from the sun site)
but I still get the same message.
no joy

I am sure MdSalih meant the java update from windowsupdate

I give up !!

I D/L and installed the java from sun-- no joy
I d/l and installed MicrosoftVM-- no joy
I tried to d/l the 'java' from Microsoft-- all I got for my effort was a stupid SDK -- no joy
I could not get the 'install java' from Windows update.

I must be doing something wrong but I do not know what.

(of course, by this time, JOY had to go home)
Oh well, didn't want to CHAT anwyay.

guess I'll go do some work now and be a productive (??) member of society.
