Hi
Yesterday i was using Netmeeting & MSN Messenger to have a video chat with a friend. I have been running my system for months with no problem.

During our conversation my sysytem locked up when my friend adjusted his video window (coinsidence i guess!).
But my system froze then it rebooted itself, on rebot it came up with a pop up window stating it had recovered from a serious error.

No problem but every time it reboots it comes up with the same problem and error message.

I have tried roll restore from 2 previous days and this states the restore was sucessfull but to no avail it keeps coming up with this blasted popup message.

Any ideas guys or girls.

Your gonna need to go into the system event viewer, that way you can see all the error messages and the full meaning behind them that windows does not pop up with, so next time you reboot fire up the event viewer and let us know what the error messages are :)

That looks like it is from the error box that pops up, is that all event viewer shows when you go into it from the control panel?

Check out this article and follow it's guide to resolution (slight registry edit). Looks like a problem driver... only way to identify it exactly is to wait until it bsods your system again, after the registry edit. Don't let it bother you that this article addresses Win 2k, the same procedure should help you out.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
