If you need to hide or encrypt something stored on a computer all you will achieve is a time gap between which someone can read it and you storing it. The greater this gap is the better the encryption. What was the best encryption software five years ago can be decrypted now in a few minutes.

The golden rule is if you don’t want someone to see what you have stored on your computer then don’t put it on the computer in the first place.
