Emperor: Battle for Dune

Alright, folks. A tad aggrivating here.

Emperor: Battle for Dune will bring up a splash screen whenever I try to run it. I have latest drivers for my hardware, latest patch for the game, and have run it in several compatibility modes. Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

Try reloading the game and DON'T install the patch for the game, I had a problem with it when I installed the latest patch, but it worked fine when before I installed it
