email notification/subscribed threads question

In order for the threads I post in to show up in the Subscribed Threads section of the User CP, do I need to have Email Notification enabled in my preferences? Nothing has been showing up under Subscribed Threads for quite some time, but once Email Notification came back up I figured it would be working again. Can I get this cleared up?

You can subscribe to threads now even if ya don't have e-mail notification on or off and they will show up in your list at the bottom of your control panel page.

I have e-mail notification off and I still get e-mails but I have my list of subscribed theads again.

Hmm, well none of the threads I post in (such as this one) are showing up on my list. Why would it work for you but not me?

Thats because they haven't been updated since you last checked em, click on view all subscribed threads and they will be shown.

EP, I click that, and only 2 threads are displayed from the past 30 days. This thread for one doesn't show up. Sorry, but I'm still confused.

O.K. now the forums have gone poopy with the time/clock thing... everyones posts have different time stamps... I mean that I post something NOW and say [e] punk posts something NOW also and they have different time zone stamps. Then the posts get listed in the thread in different places and not one after the other. I am using the Orbitz skin ATM.

So does the Subscribed Threads section work for some of you? Mine hasn't been working for quite a while, and I used to think it was related to the email notification... but I guess it's not? I suppose I can turn on the notification and keep track of threads that way, but I loved it when the Subscribed Threads section worked!

Yes it works for me... just click on the "subscribe to this thread" thingy at the bottom of the page and then check in your "control panel" to see it listed at the bottom under "subscribed threads". It should work for you.
