Elplorer.exe using 100% of cpu!

Try this:

• Close all open programs
• Open a command prompt window
• Open Task Manager (Ctrl - Alt - Del)
• Go to the Processes Tab and end Explorer.exe
• In the Command Prompt window type: regedit (ENTER)
• Now try to delete that key
• type EXIT in the command prompt window
• Reboot

With any luck that should work. Good luck

You're welcome - but no guaranty it will work. And I made him go open a command prompt when he could have just opened regedit from start-run and then closed Explorer, but I was typing faster than thinking. Same result either way though.
