ECC Memory on a non-ECC Board?

I have the chance to get 1GB Mushkin ECC SDRAM for a 15Gig hdd that I have. Will it hurt to run the memory in my board (Asus A7V133) even though it doesn't support ECC?

It shouldn't give you any problems. You might want to ask for the sticks in advance just to make sure they're good and won't cause you a problem... XP can be finicky where RAM is concerned.

Just got a hokd of it now for a little pre-testing and seems to be fine.
