DVD writers

Has anyone tried a DVD writer yet? I'm just curious as to how they work, etc. Still a bit expensive for now though ($850 CDN right now...)

I have the QUE! DVD-R/RAM drive

and I am very happy with it. Makes DVD's that play in my set-top DVD player...

I found it on sale at CompUSA for only $400., PLUS a mail in rebate for another $50. Couldn't beat $350 for a DVD burner so I bought it. They have blank media (DVD-R) for about $8. per disk. But with the right software, you won't have to worry about making coasters. Get Pinnacle Express for authoring and your first DVD will come out perfect.😀
