dvd +/- rw drive

Hi everyone,

I just ordered a dvd burner, and I'm just wondering what the best media is to use. I know there's somewhat of a debate between +/- but what is the difference and what is the advantage/disadvantage of each. Just curious because I want to get the best bang for the buck on my media choice. Thanks.

I think you may find this thread makes excellent reading if you want to know all about it!

The only other thing I would say is that usually you have to experiment and media that is excellent in one drive may perform poorly in another and also that price is no indication of performance! (So no wonder people talk about it!)
