ineed help with the dvd player on my computer is claiming that it changed regions and now it won't play a dvd that i used to watch...
my questions are:
how can i make my 'friends' dvd play again and at the same time be ableto still play 'family guy'
why are all dvds different regions
why do dvd players have limited amounts of changes
and why isn't my dvd region killer working i tried it it's on and everything and my 'friends' dvd wont play it just stops immidatly

a program called AnyDVD will do the trick!...for your friend.

haha no not my friend the show 'friends' lol i'll try anydvd i'll let you know how it goes

:)

its too early in the morning i suppose...i dont know how im awake!

Check out DVD Region Free. It's software that is supposed to take all your pain away.

not sure if you've tried this, but DVD Genie allows you to change regions for your dvd player.
also, if your DVD drive is outside the waranty period, you might like to get a firmware upgrade that allows you to have unlimited changes to the region code.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
