DVD instead CD-ROM [?]

I've thought to replace my actual cd-rom LG32x with an DVD-ROM and I've found this interesting :


Brand - Sony
Model - DDU1621
Interface - IDE
Internal
Speed W/RW/R - 16x
Buffer - 512 KB


Questions : good decision ( even for this brand ) - 38.2 Euro here .. Answers waited ! Thanks

Yes, true...movies, and also games ... as I think more and more games will be on DVD in the near future..
With more demands on graphics and contents the more space is needed ... so DVD is the current answer for that...

I say go for it!!!

Sony is a good brand, and the price is great too :happy:

But I have a Sony Monitor (Trinitron) and it has a great picture!!
