DVD drive on laptop nuttier than squirrel turds !

I recently bought some vcd's and when i try to open them in the media player, IT WONT ALLOW ME TO EXPLORE THE D DRIVE

its a dvd drive on a laptop, and for some really degenerate reason, it wont allow me to view the contents of the drive

can anyone help with this ?!
