Duel Boot

Parallels 6 for Mac claims to be optimized for games and 3D and I was thinking that they made it for Linux as well. But after some looking, they are only at version 4 for Linux.

More info: Audience: Gamers

I read some of the reviws they link to. None of them were giving frame rates and were using older benchmark software.

If you want to play windows games, play them in native windows not a VM for the foreseable future.

It was an idea, you can't knock that. Now I will go hang my head in shame for even mentioning it. :(

Oh don't get me wrong - I'd love to be able to run somthing like XenClient on the bare metal and have windows for gaming/media in a VM and Linux/BSD VM's for other stuff.

Its just that having spoken with Citrix and NXTop neither party foresees gaming/media being anywhere near usable in VM's for some time without support from nVidia, ATI, Creative Labs, C-Media and anyone else invovled in making gaming display and audio cards.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
