DSL autocconect

Hello !!!

exist one way to auto connect DSL, if edit the registry, and add some dates, name of the acount, user, password, etc.
but i no remember what !!

anybody remember this?

What kind of DSL connection do you have? If it's like mine which is like dial up, I would also like to know this information to.

hey, i've got a 'dial-up' adsl connection to and i have set it to automatically connect by....

create a batch (.bat) file with the following line...

rasdial CONNECTIONNAME USERNAME PASSWORD

for example find out the name of your internet connection in Network Connections in Control Panel.. mine is called AccessRunner DSL..

NOTE IF THE CONNECTION HAS A SPACE IN THE NAME YOU MUST ENTER THE LINE WITH SPEECH BRACKETS LIKE THIS....

rasdial "AccessRunner DSL" USERNAME PASSWORD

then replace USERNAME with your username to connect to ADSL, so for example it could be username@adsl.com, so you would use...

rasdial "AccessRunner DSL" username@adsl.com PASSWORD

then simply replace PASSWORD with your password for ADSL (it may be case sensitive) and save the batch script in the Startup folder of the start menu.

Then everytime you log on the script will run and connect you to ADSL

i wonder if there is an easier way to do this... lol!!
